Julianne Hough was born in July 20, 1988, in Orem, Utah, U.S. He was born to Marianne and Bruce Hough and is the youngest of five children in a Latter-day Saints family.
She has three older sisters named Sharee, Marabeth, and Katherine and has a brother named Derek Hough who is also a professional dancer just like her.
Early life and Education
Ever since her childhood, she was very much passionate about dancing and she began to dance at the age of nine. When she was nine years old, she began at the Center Stage Performance Arts Studio in Orem.
When she was 10 years old, her parents got the divorce, therefore, she was sent to her brother’s place to London to live and study with her coaches named Corky and Shirley Ballas. Following the footsteps of her brother, Derek, Julianne also joined the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts when a slot opened up at that school.
Due to her passion and love for dancing Julianne Hough became the youngest dancer in America to win the International Latin Youth Champion and Junior World Latin Champion at the Blackpool Dance Festival. Later she left London as she was abused, mentally, physically exhausted.
Career
Julianne Hough is known as one of the Million Dollar Dancer of ABC game show called Show Me the Money in the year 2006. Also, Hough won the season four of the Dancing with the Stars U.S edition, where she was partnered with partner Olympic gold medal-winning speed skater Apolo Ohno. Because of this Hough was considered to the youngest professional dancer who won the program.
On next year, in 2007, Hough and her partner, Hélio Castroneves, became the winners for the second time for the same reality show. But unfortunately couldn’t win for in the six season as Hough and her partner got eliminated on the fourth week.
In 2008, she stated in that she wouldn’t be returning to the Dancing with the Stars, to focus more on her music career.
Hough, however, returned to the Dancing with the Stars US edition, with boyfriend at the time, Chuck Wicks, and Kenny Wormald.
In the year 2014, Julianne Hough along with her brother announced their summer tour of over 40 cities across the U.S. and Canada, named "Move Live on Tour" which included, both singing and dancing.
Most of their shows were success, therefore, they added few more schedules which was sold out too.
